Tecumseh’s ten cabins are situated along the back of the property in three groupings, called villages. Each cabin is comprised of four bunkrooms: two long camper bunks that sleep a total of 24, a front-and-center chaperone bunk that sleeps four, and a large, family bunk along the back that sleeps four or five. Each bunkroom has its own bath, and the chaperone bunk has interior access to both camper bunks.
Featuring lofty, beamed ceilings, airy skylights, and a rustic stone fireplace, the Albert A. Honsberger Dining Hall combines a fun camp atmosphere with a touch of natural elegance. Newly winterized and air-conditioned, the dining hall seats 300 for food and fellowship any time of the year.
Overlooking the camp pool and disc-golf course entrance, The Girls’ Staff House–so named for its beloved summer-camp role–provides year-round accommodations and breakout meeting space. Twelve double-occupancy bedrooms and two dormitory-style bathrooms flank a spacious central lounge and galley kitchen.
The Lodge on the Lake is one of the oldest buildings still being used for rentals and is loved for its retro lakehouse vibe! Rows of rocking chairs on double-stacked decks offer one of the best views on camp and one of the most relaxing spots to spend an afternoon.
With 24 beds, a kitchen, dining room, meeting space, and guest apartment, the Lodge on the Lake is the perfect self-contained mini-retreat!
Tecumseh’s historic large-group meeting space, with recent structural updates and a fresh cosmetic finish, has a stage and seating for over 250. On rainy days, the Longhouse provides a wide-open area for indoor recreation.
The Rec Circle is the hub of camp with well maintained playing courts and sports fields, the picnic grove just below, and the playground just up the hill!
Around the corner from the Rec Circle is the softball field, and across the lake is the tennis court.
The Tabernacle is a versatile, large-group meeting space that can seat up to 500. State of the art lighting and sound accompany the stage on the main floor, while the lower level boasts a fully equipped industrial kitchen and iron-beamed multi-purpose space.
